Yeah they are the same except that the sto's have externally adjustible front regs.

No they don't. You can buy the twister kit for either one so that you can adjust them with out having to take them apart to do it. But stock from the factory they can't be extrenally adjusted.

Now for the question of are the 2001 and the STO front end different. They are similar in the fact that the reg and 3 way are the same the ram is a differnt one. Not sure what kind but it is different. The only differece between the stock reg and 3 way and the STO ones is the chrome.
