Get the Vapor Valve, you won't get as good as performance with the Tornado Valve, because the Tornado Valve needs more air capacity to function at it's peek of performance (you would need something like a Mitey Max).
oh ya i had planned on getting a hoseless micro rock w/ adatper eventually. so do you think i should get the lpr then the valve ???and if i do that do you think i should still stick with the vapor valve?

Yes, I would still go with the Vapor Valve because you would still not have the needed air space.

I think the Tornado valve could potentially yield slightly better performance than the Vapor if you bought a Mitey Max, I'm not sure though because I have never seen it compared to a Vapor valve in an actual test, and hardly anyone puts a Tornado valve in their Bushmaster or BKO. But the Vapor will give better performance than a Tornado without the Mitey max because the Tornado needs the extra volume that a Mitey Max provides in order to work properly. Without the Mitey Max it is not as good.
In short, the Tornado is a very good valve for other guns, but there are better choices for the BKO or Bushmaster.
The Vapor Valve costs $35. I believe the Tornado costs around $80. Yet another reason to get the Vapor.
I say get a new valve, then worry about the LPR. The Vapor is the best valve you can get for the BKO (well the Red, Zeni, and Vapor are all pretty even, but you cant get any better than them). So if you get a Vapor, you will never worry about having to get another valve because the Vapor is the best valve you can buy.

older tests have shown the macdev red has the greatest fps gain of all 3 valves :) The vapor and zeni are great valves though as well. Since u have an 04 bko dont even worry about the tornado valve

True. Which valve you think performs better depends on who you listen to though. In Travis' test, the Vapor beat the Red Valve by I think about 5fps, and was only beaten by his own home-made valve.
In Tank's test, the Red valve was the best valve, while the Zeni and Vapor performed about the same because the Zeni has a cupped design while the Vapor has a larger inlet.
Anyway I trust both these guys but they got different results in their tests, so I'm taking their reviews with a grain of salt. Tank didnt give the exact numbers for his test either, and he didnt offer an explanation for why the Red is the best. On the other hand, Travis didnt test the Zenitram, which I find odd because it has a cupped air inlet, so I think it would be very interesting to see, in exact numbers, how effective that design is.
If anyone has all three of these valves, plz do a direct comparison of them with a chrono and post the numbers if you can, using the stock valve as the control. it might be good to add to the sticky, along with Travis' test.
