well if you didnt get your answer, the big difference is the regulator on the EXR. if you need consistency then the EXR is better. even if you dont the EXR is better. but if consistency isnt important than the EXR might be better for you. i have the exr.

unless you decide you hate paintball yes it is fine for a starter, i used BE before i got the enigma...i was the only pump in an arena of 98's and Spyders...i didnt get too many kills...anyway my point is my enigma is my second, so its basically my starter
