I'm starting to wonder the necessity of PDS. I mean, sure, if I have the money, I'm going to get it. But PDS is probably going to mean 3 more weeks with no money, because I desperately need to save up. My question is this, how often does the b2k4 chop? I am definately getting a halo b, so will that help with chopping (I have relatively slow fingers 14-15 bps)?
I guess my question is: How needed is PDS? And will I regret it later if I don't buy it?
I am teh ICD n00b. Thanks for the help.

halo b should help but the PDS is nice. The problem is if you decide to get PDS down the line its gonna cost you about 30-40 bux more and you will be without your marker for atleast 3-4 weeks while it gets done. If you dont have the cash the halo b should be a good "temp" fix while you save some cash to have it done at a later time

the halo will help a lot...i say if u dont want to dump all that money for PDS, then u should get the blind bolt...its an anti-chop bolt that only costs $35 shipped. the bolt not only reduces chops but also cures blowback
my bushy with PDS never chops when i have my halo, but i also got the blind bolt to eliminate chops forever!! :D

Okay, I think I can stomach the 30-40 more at a later date. I will have the money for the marker probably in 2 months, which would put me in the September region. I think I can be without my marker for 3-4 weeks while its being done, because I will have my back up here, and it will be in the dead winter. Meh, I dunno. I'll wait and see how I feel when I actually have the money.

kai83, a guy in the ICD forum at PBNation, has them. He is the only person selling them right now. I think he is out of town right now though, not sure.
I agree with RP. You will barely chop if you use a Halo. If I shoot my Halo completely empty then it usually chops right when it is almost empty, but otherwise you will rarely chop as long as you keep a couple of pods of paint with you on the field so you can make sure you always have at least 20 balls in the hopper. I play every weekend, and I havent chopped in about 5 or 6 weeks. I bought a Blind bolt that came in last week, like RP, and as you can see by reading my review a couple of threads up, it works really well.
If you have the money to buy a B2K4 with PDS then you might as well get it, but if you are strapped for cash then just get the B2K4 without PDS since your getting the Halo anyway.
