Ok so i was shooting my bko today with a 12v rev and after about 30 shots i started chopping like crazy, i then tried my friends egg and chopped even more. So i know it's not the hopper cuz i can't outshoot the eggy. I did the blowback test and the paper flew off, and then i put two balls in the feedneck and one shot the other bounced out. I'm not sure if this is my bolts problem or not. Any suggestions?

its probly the bolt.

Your sig says "shortened bolt". How long ago did you chop the end of your bolt off? Maybe it got screwed up.

thought that would come up, i traded my cocker for this gun, and the kid i got it form chopped it, idk why but at least it's the bolt and it won't need any more teching form my shop tech. I've already got it in there for a new trigger job and some other stuff. What type of bolt would you sudgest to replace it, i need one quick so it can't be the blind bolt. I have a tourney in like one week.

did you clean the bolt after you choped, if you didnt thatere part of your prob.

also outshooting an egg isn't that hard. it bursts to 18 or 22 whatever they claim, but constant over seconds rate in near 11-12. a halo will fix your problems, i had the same problem, then i got a halo, went into my back yard and fired 55- rounds at about 16 bps without a chop they are truly amazing

i was only shooting about ten with the eggy and for very short burts almost like snap shooting

I'm not surprised you outshot the revy, but it shouldnt chop so much with an Egg.

The Vapor bolt. It has o-rings to prevent blowback, and is the cheapest bolt you can get for the Bushy.

They just got a new shipment of Vapor stuff in at www.tantrumpaintball.com

See, your stock bolt, before cutting,it wasn't just a hunk o' delrin. It was smoothened and polished delrin. The end of the chopped bolt that wasn't chopped is raw delrin, it was unsmooth/coated. I'm sure that's why it's degenerating, in whatever way it is.
