I've been trying to price out mag assemblies. There is a TKO Powerfeed setup for $269.00 which amazed me since the base Powerfeed was $299.00.
Then I noticed that one had a 1 star A.I.R. and the other had 3 star A.I.R.
What do the stars mean?

The amount of stars indicates how many free repairs the valve will get from AGD. So, more stars does mean it's more valuable but the valves rarely break on their own so most people don't use any stars. Even if you're out of stars AGD will still fix it, they will just charge you something.

Thanks! That is good to know.
I just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting downgraded internals or something. I couldn't find a reference to the stars on their company website. I didn't look at the warranty section since it doesn't "read" like a warranty reference but a valve "type".
Mmmmmm.... A TKO might just be on my X-mass list!

Just so you know, my friends and I have never had our valves break, except for our own user error. The minimag is very, very reliable.

The only time I can think of a valve needing a repair was when some guy dropped it down a hill and ran over it with a car. Most problems are caused by using aftermarket gear and are fixed by putting the stock gear back.

One star Automag 68 Classic valve....3 years and going strong. No breaks, no problems. I doubt I will ever need a repair.
The only real difference in the three valves is the laser etching on the regulator valve, right?
