Sweet Creek, Man they look really cool! What are they made out of? And are they colored?

Creek

Made out of 6061 aircraft Alum. The pic don't do it justice cause my cam sucks. My good cam is in my truck and didn't walk out and get it. They can be almost any color if they make the dye.
Also my flames etc. These are 6" drops. Started to make 4" ones this week.

I own a spyder, and I don't want to buy a adapter or a new grip frame, or oneof the kingman drops.

Could you make one of those with off set holes?

Creek
11-23-2001, 01:38 PM
I have flames and lighting bolts that are wide eough to fit syders. Reason is I get alot of guys wanting that way.

What? I was asking about a drop forward.

if you ment to say df. then do you mean the holes are straight but so big the off set screws will be able to go through the hole or what?? I'm a little confused ou your response

Creek

Can you get some more pic.'s ?

I just want something simple (no lightning or anything) but a little cooler than that top one you posted.

If somoebody told you how far forward, and how far down, can you pick one from that info?

Thanks a lot,

How much you asking for one of those things? I see the CP Lightning one for $35. I'd like a lighting one that I can put my Shutter's reg on. I have an e-frame so I don't need staggered holes, but I do need a way of mounting the ASA, unless the Shutter's reg mounts like any other reg. I don't know if they did anything screwy with it like they did with the grip holes. What I'm trying to say is:

Chrome Lightning DF
Standard holes (aw heck, drill two sets, one staggered and one standard. Up the resale value.)
And the bottom needs to mount to Shutter's ASA......(again can you do two sts of holes if the Shutter's ASA/Reg are screwy? That way if I get a new reg I can keep using your drop.)

How much we talking? Do you want sexual favors?

Creek

hey creek, those look sweet, how much would it cost for...lets say a 5 inch forward and a 2 or 2 1/2 inch drop.

how much for the fire/lightning

how much for the plain one

thanks, i may be interested, do you ship them, if so how would i pay.

thanks alot

Creek
12-13-2001, 05:20 PM
I'll pm you the prices and yes I do ship them

rios_creos
12-15-2001, 05:25 AM
oh crap, dude i'm really sorry but i just ordered a mask and oil and paint and a drop forward (lazy z drop forward)

but my mom told me to buy everything at once and i completely forgot i had posted in this thread for you to hook me up. damn.

oh but my friend has a shutter and it has inline holes that screw in sideways. i don't know how to explain it but here goes

normal l 0 l his l l
l l l l
l l l 0 0 l
l l l l
l l l l
l 0 l l l
llllllllll llllllllllllll

as you can see his aren't inline or offset, kingman has screwed up yet again by creating an entirely new design.

however he is intent on keeping the regulator. so he needs one that has his design on the tank part, and offset on the grip frame part

i know this will be a biotch to make probably but he also wants a lightning or fire design, just pm me about the price and if it will work or anything

and again sorry i couldn't order from you. your drops look cool.;)

rios_creos
12-15-2001, 05:30 AM
dammit, i had drawn out his design compared to the inline design using 0's and l's. but it doesn't post right i guess. let me put it this way. in the inline design, the holds are vertical, on his design, they are horizontal.

so normally they go from the back of your handle, to the front of it. or vice versa.

his go from the left to the right, or right to left.

i know i'll have to give you measurements later on so pm me.

thanks:)

Creek
12-15-2001, 06:33 AM
it cool you didn't order your drop from me:) about your friends I have done that set up on my friends marker its not all that hard just a adaptor plate is all I have to make.

SpYdEr_RyDeR
02-11-2002, 03:32 PM
Could you make triggers like the wgp hinge trigger for a spyder? I'm talking about the flat one.

Creek
02-11-2002, 05:30 PM
only one way to find out and that is for me to try

SpYdEr_RyDeR
02-11-2002, 06:05 PM
well give me a price quote before you make one, I dont want you to waste any material, do you have the measurements for the spyder? I just thought of something very cool, I had to do like 20 minutes of work to get rid of my front slop and my back, so I figured you could make it to where it basicly has a both front and back trigger stops. unless you are going to make one for someone else, hold on to that thought until I get further plans for this, because I'm realy on to somethin here!

SpYdEr_RyDeR
02-11-2002, 06:17 PM
Ok, I kinda have a paint shop picture of what I'm talking about:
