Ok so i got a shocktech delrin bolt. Like i said in a previous post the plastic (delrin?) bolt part is black not white like al lthe others ive seen. When i mentioned it before you all thought i smoked crack...anyone seen anything like that yet??? Also i was told that all stock bolts scratch (god knows mine did) but everyone said any aftermarket bolt wouldnt scratch. Well the plastic tip is scratching in the same place the stock one did. (by the feed port) Not as severly but is is wearing after one days use. So WTF is going here on people? Any ideas from all the spyder lovers here?

delrin does come white(natural color)....or black....so Yes it is a delrin bolt....as for the wear....well maybe you just cant see the wear on the white bolt that you do on the black one.....

It is caused by the the pressure created when the valve sends air to the bolt, it forces the bolt up as it shoots the paint and sends the striker back pulling the bolt with it.....it is normal..running LP will lessen this effect but not stop it....

hrmm..my shocktech came white...and i felt the front and it still does scratch..doesn't worry me any though..just polish your reciever(body) and it should reduce the scratching...never seen a black delrin bolt before though..

I have never seen a delrin bolt that was black either but I did a search and found sites that sell delrin stock and you can get it in white(natural) or black....

Kinda wish I had a choice of colors ....I would have got the black one....maybe
