I am in the market for a stock high end marker like the regular old classic mag or a cocker. I have heard that cockers are better but require more maitenence, and I've also heard that an upgraded mag which costs the same amount as a stock 'cocker is better.
I guess what I'm getting to is which gun is better a classic mag/ minimag, or a cocker. Please leave STOs, RT Mags, and the micros out of this, just the classic/minimag or the cocker.

If you like playing paintball: Automag
If you like tinkering/tricking out every possible option on a gun: Autococker
Now, don't get me wrong, working on guns can be cool. The thing is you should do it on your terms (upgrade) not on on the gun's terms (keeping it running).

Thanks Halliday
Could anyone give me some stats, like the groupings, and be specific example: 3" groupings w/a progressive barrel on a stock 2001 cocker. Any info is appreciated.

Specifics? We don't need no stinkin' specifics! Actually, I like paintballstar.com

They do bench mounted target shoots and have graphs of chrony results. Pretty scientific I think.
