hell for me the worst time ever was at a sanario game, i bought 2 cases of patriot paint, but didnt know it was only .68 cal, and having a flatline which normaly uses .69, or simply bigballs. .68 is the type that you would use for a pistol. so the whole day literaly 1 out of every 10 shots would break and even when they didnt the paint still flew and curved at angles i didnt even know were possible.

does anyone else have any stories and advice of paint not to buy.

I bought half a case of blaze once, I used up one bag and didn't even open the other. It sat in my room for nearly half a year. After I got my new barrel, I wanted to test it out, and the only paint I had was the blaze, so I open it up and find it shoots perfectly. No breaks. I was surprised because it was ancient and angered because I could have used it in game.

If this sounds stupid, thats cuz it's almost 5:30 in the morning:P

all paint is .68 cal. and for a flat line to work i believe you need medium to small bore which would be .680-.685.
Patriot paint is just crap so that why you had problems. not because of the size. Also you could of been busting balls is because your flat line was installed wrong.

no for a flatline to work you need medium. .68 to large .69, read the bore chart pbr has.

sry, for my misinformation. My worst experience w/ paint would also have to be with paitriot balls. my friend had some so i decided to use it ofr a couple of rounds, oh boy that was a big mistake. i was busting every single ball. bottom line don't use it.

Iehter when i went to buy Bras Eagle paint for a crappy practice nothing really big and i was on a low fund so who cares just went to canadian tire and bought some when i came home, Opened it up so see if any paint was broken and guess what Oyeah like 5-10 rounds were broken took it back to the store and bought Zap paint improved way better.

Secound, i ate paintballs we were playing bushball pop i did not know where it was coming from it went and 2-3 balls broke on ym visor and the paint splatterd all over my mouth that ws the yukiest feeling ever.

Third, i bought 500 rounds of those paint that you were talkin about, it choped so badly almost every game i had to squeegee it.

I bought a case of JT Elite paint. It was ok at first but then it sucked. I bought it in November of 2002 and I still have 500 left :(

Avoid Brass Eagle Blue streak at all costs. The one bag I split with a buddy I think some of them actually flew in a pattern like this @ or ~.

Well, I find that Blaze is completly horrid, and this midnight stuff is junk too. The balls went everywhere... But where I was pointing the marker at...
