The best don't exist. It's mostly personal perfernce. I would have to say a new barrel , double trigger , and a drop maybe.

Barrel ($50)
HPA ($80+)
Exp. Chamber ($30+)
Anti-Syphoned C02 tank ($20+)
Double Trigger ($20)
Regulator ($40+)
You'll have to pick and choose from there around your budget.

Ya ace we have to what Greedy quoted by Turambar but Kevin get a new barrel, 2x trigger and HPA.
J J cermic(35) 2x trigger(20) Crossfire 3000/68(115)=160 that is close and the best for your budget and since you dont want the e-grip or r/t. But with the r/t or e-grip. Get
e-grip and J J cermic. Did that help?:D

Not much we can do to help you on that situation. Skip the HPA then and go with the other recommendations.

Hmm, in your case I'd suggest:
14" J&J Ceramic or a DYE Ultralite
E-Grip
Dead On Pro Blade Double Trigger
20 oz CO2 tank with Anti-Siphon
Your chosing of Drop Forward or Unimount
Palmer Stabalizer
With that setup make sure you buy some Macroline and fittings. You'll need them. I hope this helps.

I think he said he didnt want the e-grip and he is on a 150 budget. 14" J&J Cermic(35) GTA Double Trigger(20) A/S(5) he most likly already has a tank and Pamer Stabalizer(80).

Installation of the double trigger:
1. remove trigger from gun and bottomline (pop the two pushpins and unscrew the big bottomline screw at the bottom of the gun)
2. unscrew all three screws holding the two halves of the trigger together.
3. remove old trigger guard
4. put the new on were the old one was
5. Take trigger assembly and remove old single trigger
5. Put the new one where the old one was.
for double triggers i would reccomend getting the GTA
and unless your playing airball get a smaller barrel, something in the 12" range. All that added length isnt going to improve performance, it sonly going to get in the way.

Try reading the instruction, it comes with it. They even have nice drawn out pictures for your convenience.

I would go the 14 inch , instead of the 16 inch. It is easier to wrap around bunkers and snap shoot with the 14 inch. Once you get bigger barrels like 16 inch and above it takes more time for the ball to release from the barrel. I've read alot of times that 16 inch barrels hurt performance and accuracy because of there length. As for the double trigger it should come with a manual and pictures like Greedy said.

as far as i know, 16inches is the limit, andything above that will hurt performance because of increased friction. i wouldnt go with the 14inch becuase at best its going to perform as well as a 12. why dont you jsut get the 28 inch lapco sniper barrel?

Get yourself a new Barrel. Personally I'm going with the shortest possible a Lapco Bigshot 7.5". This is because I hate have a long barrel getting snagged in the bush, or causing rustling I didn't intend on.
Second upgrade should be a nice 68/4500 HPA tank, should give you more consistent shots which will relate to better "accuracy" as your gun will perform on a more predictable level.
After these two it's up to you. I know the HPA is not under $150 but your best bet is get a barrel under $50, then hold down the "mod bug" until you can afford HPA. Because heck after these two it's just whatever feels comfortable to you the A-5 is a great gun out of the box! (besides barrel)
