Hey, does anyone have some good ideas for home-made bunkers? Back in my field where I play people have already set up some skids and planks of wood, i just wondered if anyone knew of any other ideas? I'd like it to be a little more sturdy than just duct tape and paper towel tubes. No offense but I'm not goin for the Ghetto theme on my field ;) any help you people have would be cool. Thanks.

Hmm.. never heard of home made bunkers that would be realy sturdy. Sometimes ill find myself putting a bundle of sticks together for a little quik job type thing but never made a realy sturdy one.

Use the Tp Concept by stacking sticks between trees and and spikes placed in the ground (hard to explain without a pictur but ill try my best to illustrate it.. Twine might be needed to stabalize it if cant make it stable but we didnt have trouble.

Like I said hard to show without making a good picture.
Other good materials of course are plywood, Barrels, Empty large cable spools, Holes/trenches, Crates, old tarps (spray paint them camo colors), just about anything can be used as a bunker but making some out of natural resources and making them sturdy can be difficult

for home made stuff i'd go for the old rusted barrels. they look rustic and normally seem to fit in if they've been there for a while. personally i think plywood is too big. go for the old barrels and spools.

good diagram Keikan..also stacked up tires, wire spools, and oil drums make good bunkers too. OR you can go out spend a thousand bucks and get yourself an inflatable sup air field :D

You could try visiting your local junk yard and get your hands some fun stuff. Old tires you could stack, old hoods of cars, old barrels, other junk. You'd be surprised what stuff you could find that would make good bunkers. Or, better yet, Army surplus stores are a good place to find some stuff. They have a lot of military junk you could get for cheap to use as bunkers.

My backyard is a pre-made paintball field. It is just a forest with one side like a Canadian forest and the other side like a jungle. It is very hard to play in the jungle part because all the close trees and brush. There is also a 4 foot deep trench.
