View Full Version : 2 different dye aluminums?
The dye aluminums at paintballbarrels.com and paintballgear.com look very different. are they 2 different models or is one an older version, and which one is the older version if thats true? thanks

No, they are the same model. However, the barrel has two different backs...one is raised with milling, while the other is flat.
The "flat" style back is for the Autococker, and is designed so it wont bump against the pnuematics.
the one at paintball barrels.com has this circular bump(that goes all the way around) and the one at paintballgear.com has straight bumps by where the threads are, and a large dye logo. so is the one at paintbarrels.com older or something? it is uglier. look at the sites and you can see the difference. it's for all guns not just the cocker.

Unless you are ordering an Alluminum for a Cocker, you will get the barrel in the second picture.

this is the same for the j&j ceramic. but didnt know why it was like that until now. i guess you learn something new everyday
