Backman

I am the captain of our team (team riot) and i am the backman. Becuase i have the fastest fingers, im the slowest, and i like to lead and tell people what to do. :p Is the back a good place for me, or should i try somewhere else to help my team out as much as possible, or stay where i am used to.

You pretty much described a backman, so stay where you are. Learn sweetspotting, laning, and communication well. Get to know your frontmen and their habits.

Well...on my team(if u can call it that, we sorta suck compared to other teams)i play mid...i am 1 of the fastest when it comes to shooting. But our backplayers actually shoot slower then me and another guy. But our backplayers r also faster when it comes to running....yet they play back

The backmen are usually the most intelligent people on the team. They also need to be good front players too, because sometimes they have to step up to pull out a win.

I personally love playing back, but since im the fastest and the only one who knows how to play front good on my team i was elected front man, even though back is where i belong, seeing as im 6'3 and i got some fingers of fury and a voice that carries.

Just read up on threads on how to play positions, watch videos, watch locals...etc to get some good ideas of what to do.
