are you talking about the equalizer bolt? If you are make such your say its the bolt cuz theres a board as well. But i would much rather go with a bolt over the tapeworm.

Self Lubricating: Made of delrin, so there is no lube needed.
No O rings: Bolt does not need o rings to operate.
Light: Less kick than you get from the stock bolt.
Different Sizes: The Equalizer bolt comes in three sizes, flush, custom 5 inch, and stubby. This means that you can pick whichever bolt looks best with your marker.
Overall: Added effiency and took away kick, increase shots per fill, no as much breaks, and more quiet.

by efficiency do u mean air efficiency did u get more shots per fill with your equalizer bolt
well if u have bolt stick then get the tapeworm. it also alows u to dry fire, of if ur hopper mis feeds, then the bolt wont stick. basically makes ur gun more realible on the field. if u already have an upgrade like that, then get the equalizer bolt. just make sure ur internals are not to light or u will get velocity and effeciency issues, ive been there myself. i would not get the equalizer using the stock hammer and stock valve. if u got the rip valve then u can probably use the equalizer with ur stock hammer, but new internal completely transform a stock impy

id get the bolt fo sure cuz the stock bolt can screw up the frame of the gun over time
only if it is not lubed, most guns in the past used aluminum bolts, but delrin is better. its not gonna kill ur body, just keep it lubed, it is more matenence

first of all, the bolt costs only 30$. next, a tapeworm cost 20$. buy both! no matter how you slice it though, unless you want to do a home iso mod (which you don't), you will, or at least probably will, have problems when you try to shoot fast with the bolt not recocking. why have a bolt at all if it can't recock? buy the tapeworm, then find another 30$, which isn't hard, and buy the bolt. good luck.

i'm gonna double post; yes, if used for a long period of time, lets say 15000 shots, the bolt will start to wear away the inside of the impulse. a delrin bolt is a must, it is just that a tapeworm is a bigger must...
