Just got case of Team Colors Winter Fill (New Orleans) and have found traces of gold paint in every bag. I haven't had this before with other paints and am wondering if it is a trait of this ball, or I got some breaks. Also what is an acceptable amount of damage before you call the store and request a refund?
Thanks.

well ive never bought a case that had any breakage. I would be so pissed if i had a break in any bag. I would request a refund or exchange if you had any breaks.

A few dimples are acceptable, but breaks aren't. Paint is too expensive to lose some because of a store or shippers mistake. Send or take it back and demand a new case. One thing to always do if yoiu buy from your local store is open and check all 4 bags for any signs of breakage, if there is even one demend a new one.

take them back if they have been hosed down and ran over by a semi truck, otherwise enjoy your low quality paint!!!!!!

Has anyone had an experience like this with these balls? Is it possible that it's just the oil from the balls? The outside and inside are the same color (gold) and don't want to look like an *** sending them back if they're just oily. But to clarify--the "oil" is gold.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I bought a case from my local store, and took it back. I thought it was a break. Man, I was fumed. :pissed: It turns out though, that the "gold break" you see in there is actually just a small trace of residue that the balls secrete as they're manufactured. I encountered the same thing at Skirmish USA last friday. They're perfectly fine, and nothing to worry about :)

Automag, you're 100% correct. The paint was more than fine--it shot great. Best ball I've used with my set-up (C98 w/CP barrel). Very similar feel as the Blaze.
