Teflon tape is fine, it it's working for you its no problem, LocTite will make it harder to get off again if for some reason you ever need to take it off.

i use blue loctite there cause i wont have to remove my v/a until i go LP (which im still debating against)... its much cleaner and easier to apply.
just dont use red.

teflon is great, just wrap it around the threads

red is fine but removing it requires a bit of tugging and stomping. Teflon tape is the best sealant by far.. just make sure not to screw it backwards after you screw stuff in cuz it leaves a hole in the tape.

Teflon, because it's a lot easier to work with.

Loctite is more convenient and clean looking. All you need to do it put a drop on the end of the threads, and youre good to go.
