i'm going to need a new steel braid line because my stock one is only 2" and only works with the stock x-chamber...

anyways, how do they measure steel braided lines? is it from thread to thread or just the actual steel line?

Skip the steel and go macro. It will be waaaaaaay easier.

I've used co2 on macro for a while now. I've yet to have problems.

That being anti-siphoned co2 and non.

well anyways, if i even wanted to get macro...at paintballgateway they don't have it

and i'll just get macro when i get nitro or somethin else, for right now it's steel;)

EDIT: nevermind, paintballgateway DOES have macro...do i need a macroline fitting too?

EDIT2: nevermind about the fitting thing, the kit includes them...do i need anything special to connect to a spyder ASA?

you shouldn't, if you could hook normal Steel up to it, a standard macro fitting will work.

well i haven't used a new steel on my gun yet so i don't know if kingman makes special lines because paintballgateway sells a "metric to US adapter" which is for kingman guns

but if i know kingman, they probably already have one of these on my steel braided and wouldn't have made a special line

talking about this (http://paintballgateway.com/metousad.html)

Are both of the steel ends american? Just look at the neds of the steel braided hose. Meric threads will seem more psread out than american.

You're going to need one of those adaptors. Kingman likes to be weird and makes their ASA threads metric.

Macro lines work fine with Co2. Its the MICRO lines on the spyder shutters that get fugged up with Co2. Go Macro, once you understand it, not much to learn, you will NEVER look back.

On my misc spyder(we think its an extra or a tl, but arent sure) the asa has american threads. It basically a lottery as to whether or not it will work.

Hmm... both the xtra and the victors I've seen have metric threaded ASAs.

Oh well. Just odd little kingman.

Oh well. Just odd little kingman. We dont know the exact model it is. Its sort of a mutt. I got it for $35 and it came with a shutter trigger on it. I could tell it wasnt a shutter, but the kid said it was a tl. It doesnt look like a tl at all(vertical feed, rear cocking rod), looks like an extra but he says it isnt.

best bet would be to go to a pro shop to have it check out with different hoses.
