I know i told some people that i was going to get an angel, and i was, but after some serious thinking (and my wallet was short $150)I remember how much I loved my cocker 2k. But sold that, and i had a "calling" to get another cocker. So I was out and about today and I took a trip down to my local proshop to full-fill my "calling." So i brought home a new Shocktech Low Pressure AutoCocker and a new 12V revy with one of those new aci twistlok elbows. Everything is in a beautiful blue. The gun itself is blue with black and chrome parts. The gun to say the least is simply awesome! So Could you put a section up... err a review category for the shocktech ac? thanx. I can wait to post a pic of it! Any other other ST AC owners out there?

i dont have a digital camera yet, but im either going to get one of those kodak pic cds or scan a pic. Ill see what one turns out better. Ill try to get a pic of it asap. Oh yeah, its a 2000 model and the blue isnt that greyish kind you see in those magizene articles its a deep blue like you would see on some anodized shockers.

thats a good way to put it- thats what i felt when i parted with my 1st cocker, and i couldnt ignore that little voice in the back of my head saying "stick with a 'cocker"

I think anyone who has truly had a good first experience with an AC will come back for more. Look at the mainstream tourney players, sure they use those angels, but they also have a cocker as a back up! Take Ravi Choppra for example. (I think i spelled his name right)He owns many fine guns, his pride overall, the westwood ac.

Just curious...
How much did it cost you?

well, with the dye boomstick the gun was close to 900, so i went cheaper and i got a Dye aluminum and i paid around 820. On order is a shocktech lp chamber and a super fly bolt. So with those extra parts it did come up to 900. Soon to come is a new AA Armageddon and a shocktech dropforward. And of course, all the barrels i can get my mits on :-)
(i got the pics, i tried them on a polaroid instant camera and only 1 turned out good, so ill post that soon and ill try to get some better pics.)

Well, the money isnt that hard to come by, you just got to work for it. (And i had a job at 13 and i learned and got paid for my efforts, and now im skilled in dealing with furniture.) 7 bucks an hour a couple days a week and the money adds up. And whats really nice is that income tax time, you get every penny back in a nice check. And i worked my way up the ladder of paintball guns. Bought a shutter-sold that, bought a cocker 2k- sold that, now im with my shocktech. Each time i went for a new gun, all i had to come up with was a hundred or two, and after saving for a month you can afford a highend gun. I suggest you read the article in apg on team juveniles- its awesome on how they made cash to afford a 5 man tournament lifestyle. (Im scanning a pic of my gun now and ill put up the pic tonight, it isnt that good but it gives you an idea of what it looks like, ill get better pics soon)

with some decent imaging software (MS Paint :-) and a good scanner, i managed to put together these fair pics, so check them out! They are a little big- sorry about that and ignore the background, i tried to snip it out (it actually is the top of my scanner)
