Angel v.s. Impulse

Okay i found a angel for sale at my local pb store for 1,220.00 it a Angel 4, 14 Inch Evil Pipe Kit, 12 Volt Revy, PMI P.E. 68/4500 N2 Tank, Mini Dye Drop Forward, and Dye Air Port.

And the Rat Impulse equals about the same amount as the angel so iono if i should go and get the angel 4 instead of the rat.

If you're going to get an Angel, an A4 Fly would be the only way to go. Go Rat.

plus the revy wouldnt feed near fast enough for the angel or any other electric gun

well..to tell you the truth i wouldnt use a halo cuz i used a angel speed with a halo and would end up double feeding than chopping. So if i get the angel the revy has a intellifeed system so i wouldnt have to used any batteries. PLus i knoe what im talking about.

ok theres a problem, no impluse except a shocktech or mabe that new dark impy thath asnt benn released yet from wharped sports should ever cost 1200 bucks unless it has every mod on the market (no impulse has that) or it is custom made. not even an adrenaline, or python im costthat much. if u pay more than 950 for any impy then u got a problem. go with teh angel for that money.

in fact, i cant even think of any rat that cost over 800? am i missing something? are you plannig to put 400 bucks of mods on top of a rat (i dont even think you can put 400 more dollars into a fully laded 800 dollar rat). for 1200, angel.

go with the angel get a evo 2 and put a z board in it

well first off the rat i MIGHT get is that much cuz...Its a 03' rat impulse stage 1, ndz rip valve, rat hole hammer, evo 2, evo 2 z board, n2 tank, was equalizer board.

The Angel 4 doesn't even cost 1200. It's around 900. Besides, I'd take a Equalized Rat over an A4. Now an A4 Fly is another story...

very true angle 4 u might as well get a speed angle 4 fly joy division is definetly a different story and if u can get your hands on one of those for 1200 and didnt like it (how u couldnt i dont konw) but u could turn around and sell it for 1300

well from what u are saying the rat is a full setup andthe angel is just he gun, big difference. yeah ok then, i would get the a4 fly for 1200, but still in my opinion id rather have a a4 than a rat. im not a big fan of a rat. now an adrenaline impy thats another story......

Adrenalin's are great, but you get more for your money with a Rat.

anyways, its a really tough decision. I'm trying to decide right now wether to sell my imp and buy an A4 or fly and im not sure what to do. For me tho, my impulse with the equalizer board is faster then an a4. It also has the custom milling and anno job on it. So for right now because of the speed and the fact that i know a lot more about impulses then angels, I am going to keep my impulse unless one day I find a really good deal on an angel. Just my :twocents:

finally sumone understood my question...their both full ready to go on the field guns. But i might just get the rat. But on the other hand i might want to purchase a fixed up mini orracle.

from the way it sounds the way uve got your imp set up wouldnt get an angel unless your goin to get a 4 fly

yeah but see a rat is just another impy. all impys are the same except the adrenaline. i love the adrenaline because the ppl at adrenaline got together and made an impy that is probably the best performing impy out of the box and is different than all the others. they changed alot of air passages inside the gun, alot of internals wont work with adrenalines because of this. ppl say this is bad, but you dont really need to upgrade an adrenaline besides the valve (i think it uses stock vavlve). so put a rip vavle in it and the WAS baord and in my opinion you have the best impy money can buy, also some of the best milling mosy can buy. i dont think ive seen milling like that until bob long and SIC paintball came around (u know the ppl that mill impy bodys).

and it is totally original, it doesnt really use anything from other impys except the stock vavle. they made a new trigger frame, the GP slide check thingy, they even modified the vision baord. adrenaline is the way to go. plus they are one of the best buisnesses in the industry in terms of making great products. adrenaline angels are about as good as it gets. well i dunno about now with all these new crazy angels like the joy division and stuff, but adrenaline used to be the best, mabe they still are. also they do great custom milling and anno. if i wanted to get my impy milled i would seriuosly consider calling them up and asking them if they can do adrenaline milling. although im not sure if SP does it for them. i doubt it cause i would thing that adrenaline would do that for thier own guns cause they are so original.

yeah im nto a big fan of the rat, especially thr 04. is got this stupid window cut where the bolt pin is that leads down into teh gun. i play indoor at my local felid and they have sawdust on the floor cause its cheap and they dnt have to clean it. if i took a dive and got sawdust in that groove, id be pretty screwed, or atleast my gun would be. second im not impresed with the milling, i dont think it looks that great and i think they could have done more to reduce weight.
