I'm getting an intimidator in the very near future (christmas). I was wondering what other accesories I need to have purchased to make the gun ready to play. the pictures don't show a bottom line, do I need to purchase an aftermarket bottom line kit? If so, what kind do you recomend? Also, is an ANS X-2 In line regulator a good companion for the timmy? Oh and what is the length on the stock timmy barrel? Thank you for you help in advance.

you will need some sort of bottom line, i suggest getting a drop forward with an ASA adapter (if you are using a screw-in tank) if you are going to use a preset tank you will need an inline reg, i dont reccomend the ans gen-x, it is over priced and doesnt perform as well as the others in it price range. i would suggest a akalmp sidewinder or a gladiator or max flow or stabalizer. im not sure of the stock barrel length . . .

well you need a nitrogen tank, the centerflag preset or PMI preset tanks will work nicely if you are on a budget. you are also prolly gonna want to get a 12v revolution or ricochet to feed the beast, pick which ever one you like better. you also need some kind of foregrip and either a macroline kit or a steel braided hose kit.

get a macroline kit and attach it to some sort of foregrip, you can also use steel braided hose instead of macroline if you wish.

not a big fan of the ANS regs, id say get either a mac dev gladiator or an aka sidewinder, about the same price range

Oh and what is the length on the stock timmy barrel?

14" i think

Another option, possibly cheaper, is to get the low pressure Crossfire tank (68/4500 with an output of 450psi). Then you don't need an inline reg (unless you plan to do the lp mod). You could get a nice cheap gas thru grip (like Psycho Ballistics) and a matching drop forward.

Here's my setup:

Psycho Ballistics drop forward and gas thru grip
LP preset tank (not the one shown, but similar look)
6" steel braided hose
45-degree elbow
90-degree elbow

(You could get macroline instead of the steel braided setup I use. It's personal preference.)

Hey mike so if i just get the gas through grip like yours and a X-fire 68ci/4500psi tank with output of 450... i dont need the reg. it just goes to the high pressure and low pressure gauges things and i just adjust them right?

i use the ans gen-x2 and mine performs very well. i've never had any problems out of it so i'd suggest that as your inline reg. :)

Correct. However, this is assuming you don't plan on doing the LP mod. If you do the LP mod, you'll need to lower your pressure into the gun to closer to 200. In that case, you'll need an inline reg anyway.

As suggested by Marauder, the ANS Gen X-2 has been used by many of my customers with zero complaints. Most who use it have told me they love it. This is an option that would allow you to use a high pressure (800psi) tank now and still do the LP mod in the future without any additional parts. You'd just have to lower the reg further.

Thank you.
