Just take home and in the usual rinse, when you clean the paint off, get water every where then use a towel to dry. Same for the spongy stuff. If you get the kind that the goggles (lens, strap, and the plastic and foam) come off you can put the rest of it in the dish washer.

After being bunkered, and showing my mom the 5 welts on my back she had to go buy me a chest protector. I've worn it for 5 minutes then put it away when she left me at the field.
