Yeah, it'll work fine, but the gun may become front heavy.

Why not, but why would you want to? You could just get a long cradle and it would be almost the same thing.

i bet he has a stock.
And why the hell would I use a stock playing speedball, with a cocker. You know how bad a stock looks on a cocker? I'm thinking that I could hold my gun closer to me this way. Not farther out.

Try it out and see how it is. I gotta warn you though, be prepared for some fuzzy looks from people at the field.
Well the first time I went and played (like with a rental, and like a couple years ago), I saw this and now I want to try it. If you think about it I would look kinda cool, like that one gun of off Stargate SG-1.

And reversing a drop would make it real front heavy.

All its going to do is make the marker hard to snap shoot w/, make the marker front heavy, and make the marker taller (compared to a unimount or something along those lines)....
Nevermind you've all convinced me out of it.

It's really not that crazy.
I have one guy on my Team that runs a DYE airport on his marker backwards. It feels GREAT, with a 68 tank.
Shoulders well, and helps keep a low "side profile".
It's kind of a unimount with a little extra.
Don't laugh til you tried it, is my motto.
