ADVANTAGES
Bigshot - Shoot more paint through it
Autospirit - Slightly better for low pressure (smaller bore, thus making the air expand in a smaller amount of space)
I dont even know if that autospirit thing is true, only read it at one place.
Would appriciate any input.

PS - why are people saying the stainless lapcos are heavy, its only 11 ounces... i dont think thats heavy.

it depends what size paint you most often use. and compared to the alluminum big shot i would say 11 ounces is heavy, the aluminum one (what i have) is soooo light, no more than a few ounces. if you want the chrome look without the weight, get a nickle plated one. . . unless you want the extra weight.

Ya these are the same barrels just one is a bit smaller than the other. I think in the long run the best one to buy is the Bigshot because you can run medium and small-medium through it and it will be awesome either way. I use Marbs (sometimes Premiums) and they considered small but for my money they perform the best.

So smaller barrels really ARNT better for lp?

well, slightly. its not going to make a big difference, and its not a good idea if you ever want to shoot med paint through it. if you try to put med paint through it will be a big mess, about 60% of your shots wont even leave the barrel in the shell, but in a big mess.

I think I read the same thing you did. I could see that being true but, me personally, I'm not to concerned about that small of an amount of air. Though if you you want to go "as low as you can go", the smaller bored barrel would probably be a little more efficient. Hey Venom it looks like we like alot of the same parts.

Thanks for the info... i was wondering how .002 bore size could make such a difference...
Did you read the one that said AKA javelin (flat out best for lp)?
