i have been thinking about this, and i see alot of threads here about people that are all looking to buy upgrades, its cool to buy some nice upgrades for your gun. but i think its more important to actually play with the gun and gain some experience, that is what is going to make you a better player, not your gun. you cant buy experience. . . sorry had to vent, anyone else have any input on this?

some upgrades can save paint.... better barrel is less shots cus you are more accurate, revvy is more balls cus you dont chop as much, etc but those are bout the only 2 big ones.... your right, peeps should spend more on paint and less on ups the help their gun 2 %

I say avoid the HPA and stick with the primitive, then when you learn how to use that mag in your hand, enjoy it fully... then upgrade to your specs.

hehe, i wasnt really going for a hit thread or anything, lol. i am just saying that experience will be better for you than a nice gun . . .

but if they have the money to do both, why not?

or if they only getto paintball so often, might as well fix up your marker when you can't play for a little while.

Hmmm...a thread about how you should not upgrade and concentrate on playing, started by the owner of a severely upgraded BM2k...

Interesting...:D

Yah i agree.

I mean i see some people at the field complain that they are not shooting very accurately with their upgraded to the max spyder or something.. and then i see that they are using BE paint .. Its like, come on man.

Isn't half the precision the paint? :)

Not even a freak or a CP can make BE precise. Not to mention, your gun will have a vendetta agianst you for the rest of your life.

dropKick, venoms bushy was bought used, i think he got a super sweet deal on it too, like 400 or something.

i agree, i only upgraded my spyder lightly. i didnt really feel it was worth it to go all the way with it.

i hope i feel the same way with any marker i get. there isnt really much you need to upgrade, well basics (barrel, inline reg, drop foward). the rest is just stuff that serves a purpse although in most cases not completly neccesary.

many upgrades improve feel which is helpful, but there arent really that many performace upgrades that are worth the price.
