Ok, ok...before you old school posters here get all excited and think I've come back to the Tippmann fold, I have to say, "I'm sorry, I haven't." I just thought I'd post here for 2 reasons:

1) I've been getting PMs lately from some of you newer Tippy forum posters asking me about the paintjob on my Tippmann Custom 98. Well, I haven't had that gun for a long, long time now. (In fact, I've since had 3 other guns in that time. Heh.) So, any info I can give you is already in the "How to Paint Your Tippmann" Thread. Just read through it. That'll save both me, and YOU, time. Heh. ;)

2) Just thought I'd post and say "hi" to all you Tippy Old-Schoolers that may still be around when I was modding here. Turambar treatin' ya right? I'm sure he is. He's a great mod...so don't be givin' him any crap, ok? Heheheheh.

Take care guys. Hope ya'll are doing well. Who knows...keep me in prayer, and I may just get another Tippmann someday. (If I could find a good, used A5 for cheap, I JUST might consider it...)

Hey hey it's CD. Been a while since I've seen you venture into these parts. As you've seen we STILL do get those derned barrel questions, though not the 4 a day we used to get.

I might be selling my ProCarb (not the m98, it's broken anyway) and going stock class since I don't have the money to play semi these days. Plus stock will always be better :)

Stock class is fun Tura...and you can pick up a PGP for cheap. Heh. You'll love the looks you get when that's all you take on the field with you.

And then when you win multiple games with it, and are able to move fast and make flag grabs (in forts, in the middle of a bridge, etc...) people suddenly look at you different.

I love just taking the pistol on to the field. I had a ref laugh at me once. He quit laughing after I won two games for our team by making flag grabs. ;)

How DID You break your 98 anyway!? My gosh...

Having no powertube makes my m98 broken since I will have a rather hard time finding one. It's not broken per se, but it'll be hard to find a new powertube for it. And I will not upgrade the receivers.

As for a PGP, I'd probably get one of those after the phantom.
