have you held one?? most people either love tippmans or hate them. i personally dont like them, they are very uncomfortable for me which makes it hard to aim and play with it. i suggest trying one, if you like it, then go for it. if not, try a spyder or sumthin . . .

Yeah they are good guns but as stated by venom a lot of it is how the gun feel sin "your" hands. Go to a shop and hold some markers and see which one fells best in your hands.
I have a Tippmann and I love them. they are so easy to work on and upgrade them. You can do what ever you want to them. Some pros even use them. The only bad thing is the FlatLine barrel. Yeah when it works its great, but when it chops a ball, you might as well walk off the field. If you are going to get a Tippmann, spend the extra money and get a marble finish, everyone has the standard black ones. They are Fugly. Also the LP kit is great too with an upgraded barrel, or even the stock one is great. I personally do not like the plastic parts on and in the gun, I promptly replaced them all out. All in all it is a great gun and ALWAYS works, not matter how many shots to the gun it takes.

If you use a good barrel/paint match you shouldn't get many breaks, last weekend I was playing in freezing weather while it was raining and I didn't get one break (all american 16" w/ team colors paint), I shot about 1200 balls, and didn't even get a hiccup while fanning.

with my tippy, c98, i've benn playing with it mabey close to 8 months now and i've been out testing it and paying with it and still have the stock barrel (though im thinking about getting another barrel) and all in all ive only broken about 3 balls in the chamber and they were some no name company that i bought cuase they were cheap. so i personally think tippys are a very nice company that makes good guns

The pro-lite comes with a very nice bolt. The bolt works very well with the other internals of the marker. Plus, you won't be able to fine one anymore. Remember, Tippmann does not make prolites anymore, and the procarbine's internals are a little different.

Well it is a tippmann bolt that works with CO2. It is very similar in design to the bolt in the model 98.

No, the bolts won't interchange. The bolt shouldn't need to be upgraded, It's not like the spyder bolts where upgrading makes a noticable performance difference. But if you need to replace the bolt Tippmann still sales the parts for the pro-lite at their website www.tippmann.com for $3.45.
