Well, here is my choice, it does has something to do with Imps so I'm putting here.
A friend of a friend has offered his '03 cocker with ANS front block pneumatics and trigger frame for the elegant price of 300 bucks. I told him as soon as I cam back from El Salvador I'd see how it shot and if I liked it I would buy it off him. I've played with him, shoots like a dream.
My other option is milling my Imp with the great people at Tarantula MFG, with option that bring the price to about 300 with shipping. I've been in talks with them on what I want, etc. since before I left on vacation.
My question is, should I take the gun offer or should I leave the kid hanging and just get my pulse milled or should I stay true to my word and wait a little for milling? Also don't have a backup gun since I gave my old Spyder to my sis (which shoots better than most other guns).

why mill ur gun when you can get another for same amount? I'd buy the cocker so you have 2 guns. Maybe I'm missing something here since $300 for milling is expensive.

if your gunna spend 300 bucks on their custom milling and you really want it. Draw your own custom milling with like a crazy design you would really like and name it after your team and then it would be like 1 of a kind and exotic cuz the tarantula milling. I saw a few of those body millings at my local PB field.

well think about this... milling can't save ur arse when ur imp acts up one day or needs a part replaced in order to work.

Tru Tru...but what is he actually looking into milling, the A/C, or internals? I Would take a A/C over milling or internals over milling. But...iono?!

Yea, I'll probably go with the A/C, though non-threaded feedneck...ewww. I'll probably get that threaded, seeing as I love taking things and making them my own (such as my imp, spyder, future mag[now even more distant future] and so on).

I say go with the 'Cocker. Simply because if your Impulse ever fails you can just grab the 'Cocker right out of your bag and start playin again.

Get the cocker that way if your imp breaks you can keep playing.

Yea nos, the first time I used a cocker I had the same thing happen to me. Awhysle, though it would be nice to save for a better gun down the road, sadly after this year I'll be in college, so chances are that I won't be playing as much, although I am getting my Imp milled and a ULE mag before I go (costin' me about 500 bones)
No, I'm not a snobby little rich kid
Yes, I am paying this all with my own money
I work at Costco, pays me 10.50 an hour, and I have no large bills to pay, which means, Paintball MONEY WoOt!

why not just save for the ule mag, it will work much better than a cocker with an ans front block, regardless of its trigger frame (eblade/race gun frames not included)?

^well there is a recomodation you don't see everyday.... are you talkin a completley ule'd out mag with x valve and all or just the ule'd body or what? cause complety ule'ing a mag with everything would cost a bit and you get the REAL benefit with the ule trig with the x valve. of course you already knew that.

actually, they are a lot harder to use-but once you master them, their way better than any other mech pull out there... period. it is a lot easier to short stroke on them, even with the Xvalve.
yeah if i had to get a new gun i would build a mag......x-vavle, ule trigger pull kit, either the intelliframe or that verical frame with trigger adjustments and angel grips on this site under automag upgrades amde by logic paintball, that looks so tight. either the ule body or the karda (i think thats how u spell it) its looks so sweet, its under the automag upgrade section too. the ppl that make that make like 4 awsome bodies for mags but they start at about 280. sucks. then a clamping feed neck, a vertical adapter with either a grip or if i had the money the AKA 2 leiter reg (mags are already pretty darn consistant so with that i would not expect any more than -/+ 1). and then i would probably sell my J&J edge kit for my impy and buy a freak kit with two backs, one for my impy and then an autococker one for the mag. god that would be orgasmic. but i doubt it will ever happen.

who knows, they're way way cheaper than they used to be.

Well, I bought the cocker off the kid, gave it a new reg (RIP JB Paintball) and timed it, it's working really great. Alls I needs now is a new barrel, front block, bolt and threaded feedneck and I'm good with this little guy:D
Impulse only needs milling and barrel, maybe some help from a little company by the acronym of WAS...
Mag will be here soon....hopefully, then I'll be Big Pimpin'
