I really can't nor won't claim to speak for the rest of the guys here, However I'm NOT a Demonic fan! Never have been! Never will be!
However I can tell ya Werms IPB stuff is Top Shelf! I've got alot of his upgrades and I love'em! What ever the man touches, turns to Excellence! When it comes to the Werms products, all I can tell ya is. Do it, you'll be glad ya did!

AIR mods.

i personally love the VFF. i was one of the first stateside to do the original iso mod and it was definately worth doing. the VFF is a lot better those because you don't have to have that hose sticking out. makes it neater.

in my opinion, the VFF/ISO is much better than the Tapeworm/ESO, it supplies the solinoid with its own air source instead of acting as a restrictor. the ESO can be thought of as better than the tapeworm in the aspect that they have a filter, but the tapeworm has the bullet.

Feed necks: lets just say i have the Strangler on order. they are great because you have a high/low rise in one.

Bolts: i feel that all the bolts are the same as long as they are delrin. i have a werm bolt, cause they were the only one out when i was shopping for it.

Trigger frames: i have an oldstyle frame so i put a wermstick on it cuase their the only one available, i love it but can't find my favorite play/tension. so i got mad at constantly taking it apart and readjusting. i'm looking into getting an I-frame. suggestion, get a trigger adjustable from the outside unless you know what you like right away.

Valve Caps: they don't improve performance, i got a flat one cause mine was scratched up. i like it, makes the gun smaller.

Internals: never tested any of these.

Quite a list- and would you belive we have (and have used) a large part of them.

The list is long, so I may miss some.

Bolt pins...
I am not real sold on the delrin bolt pins. IMHO, they should only be used in gun with the drasticly shortened/lightened bolds like the Demonic.

The VooDoo pull pins (currently) are for looks only. While they are SLIGHTLY lighter (the top are ALUM) there is no real preformance advanage.

We are waiting on the Ti pins. I have been trying to get Ti pins made up from several sources. I THINK Tez and I have a deal to have Ti pins done up by his machinest-- but Tez also wants to use Ti pins (If they would out well) so he may not want to let them out to be sold seteratly. At this point I have not recived my test samples yet so I can't realy give you an Idea what they are like. I have also been trying to get VooDoo to make up something simular Stay tuned...

Hammers. We are also waiting on our samples on the Ti hammers. Tez may have got some test samples back by now, but he hasn't talked to me about them. At this point, I'm not sure if he and i will be using the same design hammer. I have tried the SS hammers, and frankly I am less then impressed. they are much heavier then the stock hammer and therefor slow down the cycling rate. Of course I have seen FF hammers in FF guns. Here it is hard to seperate if there is any gain in preformance because of the hammer.

Iso mods/ VFF. We have been doing the Iso mod for a while (as well as the LPR mod) We got the very first of the Eclipse solonoid Optmizes and SP tape worms. And I don't think anyone that has been near one of the boards hasn't already heard my opinoin on these.

The VooDoo Full Flow is one of the single best upgrades you can do to an Impulse. No bolt stick, faster cycling, and many report it helps the first shot problem. I think they look way cool too. My gues is taht we have more experince with these then all the other dealers in the US combined. Simply put GET THIS GOODIE! Every one of my Rats will have this mod on it. And currently the package deal we have that includes the VFF and Blade trigger is our single biggest selling package.

The Tape worm/ ESO. We got every one of these that Eclipse had. Again we have a LOT of experince with them. I don't differicate between them as they work the same way and are installed the same way. If you don't want to mess with taping to plug the transfer hole (required on the VFF) this is a very good way to go. I do not see the incressed cycle speed with these mods, ans i don't have fokes telling me that it "cured" their first shot problem, but it does do as advertized-- no more bolt stick. If you are doing the VooDoo FF-- this is a very worthwhile upgrade.

Bolts. I have tried a lot of bolts. I like the "no o-ring' idea of a delrin bolt. I sell a lot of Werms bolts, and I sell a Lot of VooDoo's bolts. I don't agree with many that the bolt is a major improvment in preformance- and i certanly don't think there is a real Measureable difference from one to another (other then maybe fit.) I happen to like the slightly shorter VooDoo bolt- but I would never say one has a preformance advanage over the other. If it means anything to you, my custome guns will have the VooDoo bolt in them, but frankly I could have been just as happy with the Werm bolt. The main resion I chose the VooDoo over the Werm is simply that I have 30 days to pay for the SP bolts, while I have to pay cash on delivery on the werm bolts. When you are trying to orginize a custome gun--and have to buy evenything in batches of 100 (thats about $3000 cash outlay for bolts)-- the "30 days same as cash" becomes a very big factor!

Triggers. Here, it just a matter of what you like. Any adjustable trigger will be a BIG inporvment over the stock trigger. i don't belive one after market trigger has a big advanage over another. I personly very much like the demonic triggers. I'd have these in my customes, except i just can't lay out $2500 for triggers. Besides, the fine fokes at Planet have responded so well to my requests and suggestions, that realy have to stick with the Blade in my custom guns. As you may know, I sell a version of the Werm stick taht i drill and a version that Werm drills. i like the looks of the werm stick, but personaly feel more comfortable with the wider triggers like the blade. As I said--all of the trigger are an improvment-- just get the one you think looks best and learn how to adjust it.

Grip frame. I love the I-frame. IF it didn't require soldering wires to the board, i would most likly have Werms Angel frame (then i could use my lady trigger!)

The I-frame move the grip forward and the trigger in tight. This happens to be the way i shoot the fastest and it makes the already great pointing Impulse even better. On our no expense barred super customs (the signature guns) The FOM Signature gun WILL have an I-Frame. I think that highly of it that it will be on "MY" gun.

Feeds. I shoot with a Vision. I have tried both low rise and high rise feed tubes. I will stick with a high rise. the low rise slowes my rate of fire (with vision on) and frankly I play in the way back (I'm fat after all) so i don't honestly feel the slight difference in hight will make the lest bit of difference. i have twisters on my guns.to lock in the hoppers. Th only "problem" I have is that the insert is getting very ratty looking, and I'm a little afraid it may need replacing soon. I am waiting for the demonic strangler. This will no doubt find its way to some of our team guns. They have the "3 in 1" advange of being able to be used as a low rise, and high rise, or as a 7/8 stub to mount the warp feed. i would most likly sell a lot of these if Tez would ever send me any <G> I alos wanted him to change the colr of the insert (which showes thru the "flame" cut out) I would love to see a yellow to red fade-so it would show thu as a realy cool flame, but fo now at leat, i'll be content to just switch the inserst form the black to the sliver so the black feed has a sivler flame and the silver feed a=has a black flame.

Front caps do nothing for preformance-- again get what you like the looks of.

Barrels-- the freak is absoulty the best choice here. If you want a lesser priced single size barrel, the Lapco is one of the very best you can find

Grips. I like the black on black stickies. they are on all my guns. However Smart Parts has a new Smart parts sticky grip coming out and they will be advaible in colors as well! I have chosen the SP stickies for all my customs.

I think thats about it-- I doubt many read this far anyway <G>

as to the pics--i have a number on the "impulse accessories" page on the web site.
