Macro line wouldn't hurt. Nor would some fittings. They only cost under $10

just get a macroline kit with it and you are set.

If you are running C02, I would suggest either getting lots of Macroline, because C02 eats through that stuff, or perhaps get a steel braided line and adapter.

Convert the Kingman's funky threads to industry standard.

Uh, it isn't a spyder. Also, thinner macroline is inside a steel braided hose, fyi. The steel brading is simply ment to prevent snags and punctures, and when is the last time you pulled a macro line out of a fitting during a game?

I've had plenty of experience with Macroline and C02. The main problem is the ends. The C02 will slowly shrink and harden the ends of the hose, and it will eventually leak as you attempt to pressurize. The Steel braided line is much more durable compared to the plastic macro lines, and will prove to be less of a hassle in C02 setups.

I use nothing but CO2 on it.

Do you have Anti-Siphon?

Aye, I'm the same way as timmy freaker.

And yes, I use an anti-siphon.

I ran my fishy on non a/s CO2 for over a year and a half on the same peice of macro. Every 4-5 months, I would trim the ends, thats it. Unless you can't do that, Macro is for you. SS is too restricting in my opinion. If you want to take off your ASA, or reg or gas thru or whatever you have to take it off. My experiences have led to macro > SS.

That's the thing, I was doing straight C02 tanks. You've got a one up on that because you won't suck in liquid.

Even with AS it's still possible to blow the line.

Don't tell me we're going to start an E-fight over a freaking piece of Macroline.

When your tank is in the region of 90°F, the entire inside is gas. Temperatures above 100°F are needed to produce pressures that would blow a disk or line. That means a/s doesn't matter. Just thought I would get that out there.
