Today I received my new barrel, an equation 12 inch. It came in the wrong bore size and I wanted to ask you guys to see what you think I should do. I play with a lot of bore sizes from BE to Severe to PMI. I received a .688, with I didn't order. I wanted to know if it would be worth senting it back and getting the .690, which I ordered. With recent argruments, like the one on how bore size doesn't matter, I am unsure of what I should do. So voice your opinions.

Well it depends on what paint you use most often. Alot of paint is now in the small-medium range and that barrel is right there. It would fit Marbs great.

It really sucks playing with paint that is too large for you barrel.. you will break all day. Can you buy your own paint and avoid any paint larger than .688? or is there a FPO field that has paint larger than .688?

Well.. Small bore paint will shoot pretty good out of a medium bore barrel.. but you cant shoot medium bore paint out of small bore barrel .. soo are you planning on using .690 paint? if you are, then i think it would be worth it to send it back and get the insert you wanted. You can still play w/ teh stock barrel, which is most likely med/large bore, which should fit all the paint you will use ok

or how bout buying the .69 Equation insert? then you can have 2 and you will match the paint you use often better??? Just an idea

Thx. Right now I am leaning toward sending it back because when I put the Severe paint in the adapter it would get stuck and take a lot of force getting out.
