I'm having doubts about buying paint online because of the shipping could drop the box and break crapload paints. My question is... Is it good idea to buy paint online?

Any good online store that sells good paint for my J&J barrel?

i wouldnt do it cause of breaking while shipping. also cause if its cheaper online, youll have to pay for shipping so it will most likely come to be the same price. better order couple days in advance if you do though.

Most people have good experiences with buying online. If you can get better prices, definitely do it.

I only buy paint online...very rarely at the field. I have never had a broken paintball in one of my bags EVER! Dont be worried at all about it.

They really have to be tossing around your case and smashing it (ace ventura style) to break a lot of paint, occasionally people will get the odd broken ball and such.

The trick for cleaning those up is to open up the bag with the damaged ball(s) and pour the bag out over a towel.

Pick out the broken or damaged balls.

You can either put another towel on top of the balls or fold up the first towel and roll the balls over the towel for a couple minutes.

Check to make sure that you cleaned up all the balls to your standards, if not then roll some more.

Buying online is usually much cheaper then shops and therefore is better.
But then again you always run the risk of having broken ones, but if your willing to do the bit of work if they do break then you just saved yourself some cash to put towards playing.

Let me interject my $.02 here. I usually get my paint at the local proshop (Pevs) but that's because I get the hookup there. I did order 10 cases of paint earlier in the year for a large 100 person group game I had. My family came down and I ordered 6 cases of Draxxus 2nds and 2 cases of all stars and PMI Premium for my family to use. The white box crap had all sorts of broken paint...of the 24 bags...at least 8 had broken balls. The premium and all stars had zero breaks. No problems at all. Some of the folks that play in my private games also buy paint online all the time. With the higher grade paint I don't think they've ever had a break either. I suggest Firstcall Paintball or ActionVillage. Both get my seal of approval.

Think about it people the proshops have the paint shipped to their store.

Well the stores do ship it but in huge quantities. So if any box has a break it would be the ones at the bottom but thats only a fraction of what they order. Another thing is when you buy it at a proshop, they check every bag to make sure there aren't any breaks or else they'll give you a different box. And you never know, maybe they ship it with a specialised transport company to avoid the breaks and such things as that!
