15* asa or 90* asa
which one and why?

hmm this is a new one, I think this should go in the FAQ.

I think it is all about preference. There is no performence increase or decrease of having either. Some people may say you can play tighter using a 90deg front block because with the 15deg front block your hand sticks out more. Its all about your style of play and what feels comfortable.

lol, it isnt 90* if you think about it..because the 15* isnt 75* difference from the 90*, only about 15, exactly actually..vertical asa=0*, 908= parrelel to barrel..

my prefference is a vertical asa, no 15

like said above it really is all about comfort. With me having longer arms the 15* is just more comfortable for me so i go with that

Yes, but then the 15 angles your reg and gives you an akward set up, that isn't as compact. I guess if you must, you can but the 15, but guns come standard with a 90 for a reason. Except for that gh3y Psychoballistics cocker. Haha.

try a gun that already has a 15* ASA, like an Oracle. See if you like how it feels. But keep in mind that 15* ASA's can feel slightly different on different guns.

Yeah, the 15deg on a BKO is totally different then a 15deg on a Bushmaster.

The 2k4 BKOs take the same 15deg front block as bushmastesr, but pre 2k4 BKOs take different 15deg front blocks. On bushmasters and 04 BKOs the 15 deg starts where the tray ends, while on pre 2k4 BKOs the 15deg starts away from the tray more. This may sound confusing, so best thing would be to look at a picture.

Look at the picture below.

See, the blue line represents were the B2K and 2K4 BKO ASA Block starts and the red line represents were the pre 2K4 BKO ASA Block starts.

I know it's a pretty small example, but it should do the job.

Haha, that is the first thing I said to myself when I saw the picture. s0m37h1n9 took the picture, it's not my tray, but it will be mine (well, actually, my brothers) soon. I traded my brothers red body, tray, and feedneck for his silver stuff.

Anyways....I dont know if I want to go 15* or 90*. I have used both and like both, but I just dont know which one I want...
