Evil Smokestack Question

Is the Evil Spyder Smokestack an extension or does it replace the feedneck?

I was told that the TES feedneck is Spyder threaded so I ordered a Evil SYpder Smokestack.

I thought I could replace my TES feedneck with it, but people are saying that the Sypder Smokestack is bolted on with two holes on sides.

So if anyone could clarify this for me I would be very appreciative.

The smokestack just makes your existing feed neck a high rise. Also the threads are 2k2 timmy aka TES/T1 threads.
