Which barrel for 120$~?

Should i get a Boomstick (12in)
or a Freak ( i KINDA want to get one because I most likely will be using diff paint[unless i get boomstick])

but I would only have 120$ for the freak atm (id get rest later)

and I can get mostly any brand of paint

so boom or freak (what exact parts for the freak should i get?)\

Most paint is medium. Boomsticks are small bore. IMO why waste your money on a freak set ( though I hear they are good ) and spend all that money on some inserts you will hardly use. You could for $100 get a small bore and medium bore barrel and be set or spend alot more for basically the same thing. I'm not bashing these barrels at all, I hear they are good, but I don't see the logic in spending all that money. And yes I am one who thinks DYE products are overpriced.

if you buy a freak get the whole set. if you cant afford the whole set i say go for a small bore and med. bore barrel.

examples:

.685 cp and .689 cp or....

lapco bigshot (med) and lapco autospirit (small)

ya, either 2 lapcos (autospirit and big shot) or a freak base front and an insert . . . after that when ever you need a new insert they are only $20.
