Ive shot the Excal and the Matrix, I dont see a differance but the price? Is it just a differnt "type" of the same basic principle gun?
For examply a Coke and Pepsi, goes under the catagory of a "cola" or "pop" but is there a legit reason to spent 500 more an a excalibur over the matix? (i dont think its worth 500 for better air effecency) What about a shocker? A shocker is huge but is there really a reason to spend so much more money on an excal vs the shocker? (we are talking performance and reliability, not size and weight)

im sorry for these stupid Gun vs Gun posts but the only differnace I see is personal preferance, size, weight and price.

Perhaps I should not be posting on this topic but......I own an Ecalibur and a Shocker( I have not shot a Matrix). I LOVE my Excalibur....I'm selling my Shocker. In my experience the Excalibur has better effiecentcy, smaller, more dependable, Deffinatley put together better, and my Excal shoots faster. Those are reasons enough to pay the extra for it. The Shocker has to be constantly greased and Smart parts seem to have quality control problems. As for the Matrix, like I said I have not shot one, but to me the effiecentcy is worth it. I play ten man and when you shoot 1000-1500 shots a game, you need every bit of air. Personally I don't want to have a 114cu tank to carry around.
Those are my opinons, not yours.

Hey shaun, I know what your saying. You have seen my shocker when we played together in olds and at MR, and I know what your getting at (I am on Yes team if your still wondering). I really don't like my huge tank and I am looking to scale down to a 8845, but for the time being it works. But the excal is definately a tight marker. Same if not lower psi operating pressure and amazingly it is very efficient. Something like an estimated 1600 shots off of a 68/45. And its small. You can't beat all those crammed into one. I wouldn't mind one myself but that will take some time. Until then my tursty workhorse shocker will take me to the finish line.

The matrix is closed bolt. I now see why the excalibur is king above all other "mortal" guns. Efficency, reliablilty, and the ability to reach out and touch one has won me over. I have a friend who is going to buy one soon as soon as he can sell his 2 impulses. Then i will MOOCH LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!! *evil laugh*
