I have stripped my valve so i currently go without screws.... the gun halves hold it together fine and the VA keeps the valve in place. Do i really need the screws?

Also, I accidently dropped one of my trigger pins in the sink. Is the pin above the sear really neccesary since nothing touches it?

Jeeze man Ok 2 words of advice

1 Dont Take apart your paintball gun over your sink thats stupid

2 Call tippmann get the sales depart, ment and find out what parts you need, If its over a certain number of parts they may make you pay a low price, usually they send parts for free.

3. Dont play when your missing parts on your gun just wait for the new ones, Its not wise

Phone (260) 749-6022

Call them tell em what you need

yes you will still need the valve screws, just loc tite them in like i did :D

as for the pin above the sear, no, its not needed, the sear will never travel above that point (try and make sure) so you can use that pin to replace the missing one.

Damn man i did locktite em in but it didnt work too well and it ended up locktiting the powertube in but somehow the locktite didnt even dry....... then i lost the screws somewhere. I did make sure that the sear doesnt travel all the way to the back bolt :P it only lifts like a mm off the bottom pin

what could happen if you dont have ur screws?

if you dont have your valve screws, the gun will sometimes sputter and not recock all the way.

loctite will be your best bet, if you need some screws go pick some up that are 10-32 (not too sure about the length) i think 3/8th

if not, tap a bigger hole so you can use a bigger sized screw.

yes, loctite will get onto the powertube, try putting loctite on the screws instead of in the holes where it holds the screws

1.) Don't play with valve I did the same thing by stripping the screws and the valve call tippmann and they will send you the replacement parts and loctite for free. You will need the vavle screws or eventually you take 2 shots and your air will sputter.

They sell stainless stell screw kits on ebay for about $2-5. You might want to look into those.

if only they made their valves out of steel nobody would be having this problem....
