im building a field and does anyone know of a field setup or game play style that would make it more interesting and fun

Is it gona be a field for people to come and play at, or just you and your friends?

get a whole bunch of easily movable bunkers.

so then every game you can make it different.

have like 10 moveable bunkers per team.
have a midway line in the field.
each team has 1 minute to put bunkers where they want them, then the game starts.

So if one team dosn't work well together and only put one bunker up, then they are screwed. That'd be a lot of fun. you could have all your bunkers up front and then start up front, make it so you start on one end but can't fire till you get to the other side of the field. then if someone is slow they will either get shot or have to sneak back under cover.

Off the subject, but what the HECk are you doing with a 16" barrel? Studies have shown that you don't need any more than 12. If you want something to sight with you might try 14. Seems to me it would be in a sniper's best interest to keep quiet and concealed, and 16" barrel isn't exactly stealthy. Oh well, whatever floats your boat.

try defend and attack. well... it might not work so well with few people. it's fun with groups, especially if you have forts and good hills with bunkers.

Get two people, and stand across from each other at about 10 feet. Each person puts exactly 100 balls in his/her hopper. Start shooting at each other at the same time, and when one person runs out of ammo, end it. If you finish first, you get shot less.

i purchased my excessively long barrel for 25 bucks and it is very accurate. It surprisingly doesnt get in my way except when i crawl
