I did a Test Today with My Model 98 R/T, with a Benchmark Expansion chamber on it. I have a Rocket cock on it and I've wanted to see if that had been affecting it. So, I did my Test with the Rocket Cock on and off. Using C02 and an outside temp of about 46 degrees, estimated, I tried this. Other Info: A J&J Two Piece Barrel was Used and a 12 Volt Revolution Hopper. Now that I have that out of the way, let's start with the results.
I Used Marballizer for my Paint. I Shot Approximately 300 Balls with the Rocket Cock on my gun. (Estimated) I broke at least 10 Balls with this on. That was after cleaning my barrel after the breaks. I tried not cleaning the barrel, it wasn't too pleasent.
I cleaned my gun, took outthe rocket cock and threw the stock Bolt Handle back in. I loaded up my hopper and started again. I outshot my hopper and did not have a single ball break. In the past if I had outshot my hopper, I would've chopped a ball (with the rocket cock.) Re-Loaded, and shot until I couldn't. I didn't break a ball.
My conclusion: The Rocket Cock might wok on Semi-auto Tippy's or other R/T's, but it doesn't on mine. It won't stay forward for some reason. I'm staying with the stock setup for now. Anyone feel free to reply.

 i dunno about you but the rocket cock isn't really suppose to do anything except maybe make the gun a tad bit more silent.

Hmm, thats odd, I wouldn't think the Rocket Cock would have any effect on ball breaking. The results differ enough so it doesn't sound like a freak happening, though. My guess would be that the rocket cock might make the bolt heavier, or stiffer, but I have a full boar shadow so I am really not sure about that. Anyone with more knowledge would like to please explain that?

I've been thinking and talking to other people. I gathered, along with them, that when the Rocke Cock moves with the bolt, it might/must hold the bolt, which in turn delays the sear from resetting. I can't really describe it, but I know what's going on. Basically, the gun gets it rhythm going. Sounds funny, but it's true. Then, the rocket cock holds the rear bolt back just enough to delay it millisecond. Then, when the front bolt is released, i seems to chop the ball. The "rhythm" as I call it was broken, the bolt was held back, then ball was chopped. I don't know if it was my Revolutin holding back or what, but I'm going to pick up another case-o-marballizer in the next few days to see if i can hopefully prove this. Until then, more thoughts, please!
P.S. Anyone selling a Ric. cheap (As in 20 off retail, I'm interested. For this test and for personal use)

What your saying makes sense NoNames, I might have to try these tests with my Full Boar Shadow and see if it also has this problem.

well then, if ur pretty sure thats the problem then just sand down the part that might be holding the bolt a little. that should solve ur problem.

I'd really like to see someone test this with a Venturi bolt and stock bolt

Rumor has it that the rocket cock makes the bolt slide more against the reciever. This would make sense on the ball breakage then. It would push the bolt and scrape it against a reciever halve and the it would not push the ball equally on all sides. Therefore, causing the ball to leave a barrel at a slight angle causing it to break. The sear also makes sense too. Maybe someone from Pyscho Ballistics needs to look at this.

I e-mailed Psycho-Ballistics. I would like to get a venturi bolt and test this out. I would also like to test this out with a Ricochet but I don't have enough money yet. I'm heading down to the paintball store in the next day or so, I keep saying it, but I will. I'm only going to test with Marballizer, if I get them. I am on a limited budget right now. Once I get the paint, I'll wait for another semi-warm day again here in N.H. to test again. I don't want to test in 30 degree weather. And i'm waiting to hear back from Psycho-Ballistics, so any more ideas/rumors...keep them coming. I think liquid_soul's makes alot of sense, alot. I might even check my bolt to see if it's worn down at all, even the slighest.

I would think that since the shadow comes with its own parts that it might work better. The rocket cock uses existing parts that might not conform perfectly to the setup.

The Rocket Cock comes with it's own parts. You have to replace the Stock bolt handle and the Screws the hold it in. The stock one has grooves on it and is too long, so it wouldn't work.

The shadow comes with a different type of drive pin that is what I meant.
