now come on walk ons arnt the same as newbs im a walko and i think i play pretty good yeah sure there are alot of newbs in walkon but there are also alot of good people that play walk on i even see alot of people that play in tourneys that play walk on on the week end for practice or for fun and they r not always the last ones on the feild they get ellitminated sometimes ive eliminated some myself but when ur tryin to say that walk ons r newbs it make it sound like if u dont play tourney or work at a piantball feild ur a newb and suck. Its either that or the walkons on the field suck i mean comon one kill they must really really suck or u guys must have won the last bug tourney lol

what i don't like is that noobs have no sense. i played this sunday, and man, i surrendered at least 7 guys , with 3 in a bunker. they just sit there, doing nothing. all cramped to gether. pretty sad also when i had to tap a guy out to remind that i surrendered him.

BIATCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You were a newbie once! Help'em!
Tell them not to talk big until they get out on the field! Sure, Get'em out, But don't rub it in their faces! They probably have no idea about how we take our sport and it's people like you that keep parents from letting their kids play! My Dad was reluctant to take me to the field, let alone leave me there.. Until, of course, he met the nice people at the field who were nice to me and "took me under their wing". You gotta respect newbies and make them feel welcome. If you don't our sport will deplenish, get a bad rep again, and we will be left with no fields and pro shops. SO QUIT THIS BIAS TALK ABOUT NEWBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i like playing with newbs that arent affraid to get out there and do something with me, the ones that bother me are the ones that just sit in the corner and dont do anything.

im a walk on too  and i dont think im a newbie . . .

my second time on teh field. my team was owning this one guy. after he called out. everyone stopped shooting at me. but newbie me just keeps balling him and balling him and blaling him. i only stopped after shooting like half my 200 round hopper and he got so pissed at me and started swearing like there was no end for 20 minutes. by the end of the round. everyeon just looking at him . dude. he was pissed. he should be too. since a newbie shoot 100 balls from like 50 feet. not really a newbie anymore tho.

Another thing about this post, just because someone is strictly rec, dosen't mean they are a newbie. The 2 best players I ever met (2 pretty old guys) played as walk-ons and kicked the host teams' butts. Heck, any newbie can take down anyone. On the first time my bro played he followed Bill's (one of the old guys) orders and bunkered a guy with a cocker, hit the captain of team backwoods with one shot, and then bunkered me. I mean, seriously! Where I play there aren't too many tourneies. Most of the teams are the newbies (1 year or less paintball experiance), not that it's bad, but they just THINK that's what they want to do in paintball. Most of the experienced players in east tennessee prefer rec ball and go as walk ons.

Let's all adopt a newbie. I have adopted a newbie who is convinced that he is the almighty god of sniper, needless to say he bites BIG TIME.

Yes I have adopted a newbie!I'm trying to wheen him from camping in the bunker and only wanting to ref a game so he doesn't get shot or just yelling I surrender when the horn goes.Well I sorta allready did that because one time he yelled it and I unloaded on him and go "What surrender? What's that?".I'm mean but he asked me to do whatever it takes to make him better.I know all newbies don't act like that, some are pretty good for a first time. It's also funny how he big talks me and than backs out in the game.

I remember introducing one guy to the sport. His second game is was acting like he was a combination of rambo, the terminator, and the preditor... diving headfirst into rock formation bunkers, trading fire with 3-4 people at once... man he realy got into it...

Course, me an my bud pulled out our pump guns and went to town the next game.... just to show him that while he may have gusto, he didn't have skill yet. :D

My newbie is testing my patients, bad. we finally played on what he calls his field. It is this tiny speedball field surrounded on three sides by dense jungle/forest foliage. As soon as the whistle goes he dashes into the brush and stops moving altogether, I am pissed. So I decide to play his game for a while and an hour later I am fed up, I scream that I am done and that I am going to leave his *** in the jungle if he doesn't come out. I hear him answer from behind me in a patch of particularly dense brush so I take off my mask, thinking he knows the game is over, I was wrong and it turns out that he is the worst shot in the world with an M98. He starts to shoot at me and I just turn my side to him to lower my profile and scream for him to stop. After half a hopper of shooting he hits me in the side of the head, NOW I AM REALLY PISSED. I threw off my rental gun (I brought my new cocker but I didn't know you had to turn up the velocity before use and I hadn't brought the manual) go over to the bunker he is behind and kick the snot out of it and scream at him for not listening. I said sorry over the phone after my inner sportsman (a.k.a. conscience) because it was my stupidity to take off my mask and he really didn't hear me. This boy needs to be lit up BAD, I am going out tomorrow with a couple friends so I might do it then. Hopefully with the extra people he won't be such a wuss and hide. Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated on how to teach him to speedball and not have this quasi newbie-sniper-ambush mentality because I am about ready to charge him before he can move and just light him up.

I am just coming out of newbiehood. I played my first game at a vry low key field(reservation only) with 8 other people. I was on the team with 3 other guys. We were playing against 5 girls. Everyone but one girl had sl68II pumps. That girl had some sort of semi. I kinda became the point man because I had to be.
I think it would be good for every newbie to play in a small game against similar firepower so they have to come out and do something.

I play at the home field of an amatuer B team and one of the guys frome the team plays walk on with us lesser players all the time. Walk ons are not neccessarily newbies. A lot of the time I can't get my team together, so I play as a walk on.
