wrong forum but the reason it double feeds might be that it has a bad ball detent and i suppose you know to get good paint to barrel matches so they don't roll out. also you might want to have someone at your field look and make sure its timed right. are you using the stock barrel, if you are that is why its so loud get one with porting.

yeah it good be the ball detent or ur not pullin the trigger all the way. but the loadness can come from two things its either u barrel cause it has no porting nut once u get a nice barrel it will sound like heaven. or it could be that ur backbolt is to much screwed in which would make it hit gainst the gun and make a clack sound wel hope i can help

Thats your first mistake. :)

and so far i am not happy.

As are many first-time cocker owners.

the gun is very loud

That's because your using the stock barrel, or a barrel with no porting.

double feeds like a mad dog

Either your ball detent isnt screwed in all the way, or your not pulling the trigger back all the way when you fire. Or it could be the timing. Recently, a lot of people have been having trouble with 2k1 and up cockers, as they seem to be a little out of tune from the factory.

i already had to take it in the shop for the velocity.

Keep it there, and when you get it back, don't touch ANYTHING on it.
