Ok I'm wanting to upgrade my Piranha Pro TS G3 here's the upgrades I want.

Smart Parts All American Barrel
Shocktech Delrin Venturi Bolt

"Maybes"
Dye Sticky Grips
Universal T-Stock

So would these upgrades boost preformance? :dunce:

An aftermarket barrel will definetly help. If you get the shocktech bolt you will have to raise your psi. Dye stickys will make your gun more comfortable but you will have to trim them a little bit. And I just use my co2 tank as a stock but if you have a remote or something and you like having a stock then I would get one.

Ok I ordered my Piranha a few days ago so I'm expecting it soon but should it be already be High PSI stock?

Im guessing it should run around 600 psi or so stock, but if you decided to get that delrin bolt you should drill it for better air flow.

whats drill it mean?

When you drill it you drill a big hole in the center of the venturi to make one big hole.

Saiyan I'm wondering if this is the venturi bolt that would come with the gun? http://store.yahoo.com/xtremepaintball/pirvenbol.html

and if its not do you think it would improve performance?

Yes, that bolt does come with your gun. I would just use it instead of spending $35 on a shocktech bolt. Then you could get a spring kit and lower your pressure.

Ars you serious about drilling out the center of stock bolt for better performance? doesn't it need those holes or are they just BS if I drill them out ,do I get rid of all of them? cuz I'm into the "No Buck upgrade".
I was wondering but never made the suggestion verbally to anyone yet ,so I am very interested if it does work or not ,I do it if someone else has and it is awesome ,or maybe I'll just get a new bolt and do that mod befor I change it out? oh well

The idea of the venturi bolt is that is disperses the air before it hits the paintball; thereby reducing ball distortion and increases shot-shot consistency.

The one-hole bolt does not provide this 'feature' so it technically distorts the ball more. Leading to more ball breaks and less accuracy. User opinions will differ on this topic.

However, if you are going low pressure, most agree that the one-hole bolt is better because it provides less restriction for the airpath to the ball.

The shocktech bolt, because it does not have any o-rings, lets too much air get past it so it cannot direct the same amount of air to the ball. Thereby losing FPS and efficiency for the same amount of air. Shocktech is not recommended for low pressure applications for this reason.

Check PDPAINTBALL.com for a comparison between the PMI One-hole bolt, PMI Venturi bolt and the Shocktech bolt.

hope this helps.

i suppose im not sure but the shocktech will supposedly make the gun quieter but i think the pmi stock bolt is pretty nice.i think if someone wants to verify my info?

Well This is simply from what I heard as I do not own one. The purpose of the venturi is to let the air distribute evenly against the ball, but it can also "block" air. The shocktech is smooth and fits firmly into the chamber from what i've seen and whatever you do dont oil it since its self lubricating.

Yeh the venturi on the stock bolt is pressure fitted and im not exactly sure how to remove..its different from the stock spyder bolts.
