i'd take the mag over the nerve. just because sp made them lose money, and mags are just cool like that. would you be getting an e mag or what type???

i would get the nerve but give it a while let sp work all the kniks out first

This is far into the future (like 6 months or so;) ) I would be getting a ULE Custom mag worth about 500. Green, what gun do you shoot? If it matters to you so much what company loses money or whatever why would you be on the Impulse Forum. Do you have Windows on your comp?

Me got cocker:biglaugh: :neener:
uless it is an electro cocker, i would take the mag. acutally i would take the mag over an electric cocker cause im too lazy to put up with timing it and crap. mags are more durable, more reliable (less to go wrong, no timing) more simple and faster. and with ule stuff they are lighter. and with the ule trigger pull kit they have a much better trigger than a mechanical cocker. anyways, im not impressed with the looks of the nerve. i think it looks fugly. i think anything over 825 is to much for a SP electro. (SP meaning SP. not like toxic impys or anything like that). i mean when u get into the 1000 dollar range every gun performs amazingly. a timmy and the nerve are both going to perform amazingly. so what if the nerve is 10 bps faster than a timmy, nobody can outshoot a timmy anyways. acuracy is nice buts its hard to get any better than a timmy in accuracy. so for 1000 bucks u get great peroming guns except in my opinion one is a head turner and one is fugly. i also thing the nerve looks kinda cheap, like with that knob thingy hangin out the back? i duno. im an very interested to see how these guns perform though.

same here, I mean I know the nerve looks like a kickass gun, but if I had the money I would wait a year on it because even through testing you never know how what will pop up that SP didn't forsee, look at how many versions of the impulse there are, and the shocker went from shocker to a totally different shocker in every way, so I wouldn't be surprised if the nerve needs some time. Although maybe not, I mean even the 2003 shocker was a 5 star marker IMO if you get a bolt kit for the air effeciciency issues.

My reason for saving up for the imp...and I think E blade cockers are a little too expensive also, like th e orracle and karnivor, $!$!$!$!
Dark Master

You dont have to get a eorracle or karnivor, why not look into a superstock or nightkast?Or perhaps a used ecocker?Cockers have bad resale :( so u that u means u can prob. get one for like $500.

your not alone =)
i dont think timmys are overpriced. think about it. they are made in america, so manufacutring is way more expensive. also, they are very very well made. i mean the sic milling for impys is like 350 +. so look at the milling on the empire and alias and a-bomb timmy. they probably cost as much as an impy just for the milling on those guns. tehn u got the parts wich clearly are better designed than an impys, which is why they are good performers. then tehy got all high quality baords with beam bread eye and great trigger and great fit and finish. yeah tehy are higher matenece, but thats what u get with high performance.

I like my beam bread with a little country crock spread.;)
They seem overpriced, but Timmy's are worth it in my opinion, just like most people believe a 1100 TonTons Impulse is worth it.
i think i saw those things for like 900. and they are deffinitely not worth it. the only imp worth that much is an adrenaline in my opinion. yeah they are worht it, but ppl are like should i get a timmy, and they are rec players. like me, i could buy a timmy, but 1000+ for a rec player???? thats a little much. ill stick with my imp

bah
the nerve is sweet
dont diss it
one day at the field you'll get raped by one :P
im not dissin it, im just sayin that SP could have done a little more with the looks. i mean compare a timmy to the nerve. cant u tell there is something missing there? but yeah im sure the performace is awsome.

I like the looks of the nerve, espacially since it doesnt have any real distinctive milling. ITs sexy in a subtle way

alright ive heard that the shocker could match a timmy anyday and tthe shocker is a real good price
and if the shocker could match a timmy than think what the nerve could do

aww man, i just read the reviews for the nerve...
MAKING ME WANT NERVE..
MUST HAVE NERVE...
help me!
i have a feeling that in like 4-5 years the nerve will replace the impulse, just becaus the performance is so much better that when the price drops, everybody is going to buy the nerve instead of the impulse.

Well, yesterday I went to ANS and got to hold their red nerve. It wasn't as light as the Shocker (not by much thought, probably the SS Freak back) and almost drooled on it. It is just a small, light gun and the trigger is super smooth and fat for comfort. It comes stock with everything I'd want on it. Well, Time to start my sig with....
