I have a Tippmann Model 98 Custom and I am looking to upgrade from the stock barrel. What would you reccomend that is a good barrel at a somewhat reasonable price? I am just looking for a better barrel, not the best and most expensive out there. I was looking at the J&J Ceramic and what about the Tippmann barrels? Are they any good, after all, they are made by Tippmann for Tippmann guns, so I would think so.

hrmm..i'd go with a Lapco bigshot or a JJ Ceramic barrel. Both are very accurate barrels.

Where are some websites where I can buy these? Also what size? I heard either 12 or 14 in is the best. Is this right?

32 degrees barrels work excellent on the m98. Get either a carbon fiber or an ice cold. For some reason, these barrels are excelnt on m98s, but are terribel on spyders, who knows

What would the ideal barrel length be? I am thinking either 12in or 14in. I don't know whether I lke the J&J Ceramic or Lapco Bigshot better though. I still have to decide. Thanks for the input.
