once in a while when my gun hasnt been shot (like 30 mins), the first shot i take will just go bllpptt and the ball will go like 30 feet. Then i cock it again and it works fine. I've looked the gun over many times and cant figure this out. Any ideas?

Isn't that because the first shot is underpowered? Like the PGP2k1?

What you can do is cock the gun upside down and shoot without a ball, then turn it back around and shoot normally.

it has to do with the fact that you shouldn't leave the Zues with a live power source alone for long periods of time... starts to mess with the valve

Yeah, dont leave a live co2 source in your zeus. Like lord says, it'll wreak havoc with your valve. That holds true for most guns.

o rings don't like liquid CO2 resting on them for extended periods of time.. niether do plastc/ruber cupseals and metals parts thats arre pron to expansion/contraction

No, pgp valves are different. That first weak shot in them is due to the fact that the hammer is actually puncturing the cartridge on that first shot.

I have no idea why your zues would be doing that. Like said above though, you shouldnt just leave your marker gassed up without use for long periods of time.
