I just got a equalizer for my imp and i cant seem to get the eye working (if theres a post about jut let me know where) i enter the programming menu but after that im not sure how im supposed to store the settings, do i just turn off and on or what. when i enter a mode for the eye and i turn off and on the marker fires without anything there but the led doesnt flash as if theres something in the breech. please help me out.
ok first read the manual. i found it very good. no u dont turn it off. be patient. in programming mode, go to the catagory u want. then hold the trigger down. the ligh will go off. the wait and the gun will tell u what mode u are in. if u want to change it, pull the trigger the nuber of times u want for rate of fire, or if therer are only 2 options, pull the trigger once or twice. tehn wait. the gun will tehn tell u the new change like its confirming ur new selection. tehn it will flash red, green, AND ORANGE, very rapidly. when u DO NOT make a change to a setting the ligh will flask RED AND GREEN rapidly. then it takes u back to the menue. also are u changing the rite thing? the eye mode should be orange solid light. look in the manual, it should tell u. now have u installed it correctly? i recent went paintball and thee ref (who has had tons more expirence than me) couldnt get his WAS baord working. it was because he didnt file down the eye bcause he though he didnt need too (he said that when he installed SP vision, it worked without filing, so he didnt file for the WAS baord.) U MUST DO A GOOD JOB OF FILING AND TEHN SHARPIE THE FILED ARE TO PREVENT PROBLEMS WITH THE EYE. check and make sure u are in the right eye mode. go from there. if nothing of that workes then post again.

I dont think i have EVER seen you use the "Enter" key too seperate your 'word block'
Its easier for people too understand things if you break them up:neener

i didn't do any filing, ill do that, thanks
yep that will do it. and dont half *ss the filing, make sure u file it down all the way and make it look like there was never anything there in the first place. after u file it, the anno will be gona and the metal will be all shiny, this can also affect the eye. take a sharpie and make every silver area black. make sureu are in the right eye mode and u should be fine.

:agree:
make sure when you file it that its perfectly smooth.
the only thing is, you don't necessarily have to blacken all the silver areas with a sharpie. if you are still having problems with it then, you should blacken it but you might not have to.
yes but what is better? to do it first and then not have problems, or not do and have problems and do it later?

or what about not doing it and not having any problems at all ?
yeah but if ppl say that not sharping can cause a problem, then why not sharpie anyways. its not rocket science, it takes 2 seconds.
