View Full Version : Feed Neck for Non-Vision Imp

I have a non-vision imp marker that I'd like to replace the feed neck with something else. I am going to be using this with a richochet apache loader, and the stock neck doesn't let the apache feed tube go in far enough, and of course you have the huge height of the stock one. Currently I'm thinking about the extreme rage feedneck, the ND universial low rise, the ccm mid-rise, or the check-it sure fit but I have read that going too low on a non-vision isn't a good idea. I thought i'd ask for your opinions/suggestions or if I am missing any other feed necks that are out there that might work.
Thanks!
ok i did the same thing. i now have the WAS baord, but b4 that i was using the ND clamping no rise feed neck, which i love. but without vision i could chop using an egg. it was hard, but i had to try to shoot as fast as i could long strings. with the stock feed neck i could not chop. so if i were u, i would get a low rise or mid rise, mid rise is probably ur best bet. i would strongly reccomend a clping feed neck, ive only used this ND no rise, and i love it. but having something holds ur loader tight is a nice thing to have. i dunno if the apache is faster than an egg or what, but yes for me with an egg i could chop with a NO RISE. i would strongly reccomend vision also.

Vision is major bucks since this had the old style body before vision milling. The apache and stock egg are about the same speed according to specs and most reviews.

wat the heck r u talking bout........feednecks dont make ur gun chop and if u wanted a higher neck......then get the SP twister feed which is kinda like clamping but not
o and ikey........even with the egg u shouldnt be chopping with or witout vision unless u r shooting faster than the hopper
also u realy need to stop "BRAGGIN" about getting the WAS board

yes, when using a non true force feed, anything other than a halo and qloader, you can encounter chopping problems with to short a feed tube. with a hopper like the apache or evoII though you shouldn't have a problem with a low rise feed tube, which i highly recoment-ccm makes my favorite-because they can feed a consistant 15-17bps and the stock cricket impulse can only fire 13.7 bps due to the cap. you still might chop though, it is just very unlikely.

you can heat it up with a hair dryer, but that will take like an hour. are you replacing it with a new one? if not, don't take it off, that is kinda pointless. if you are replacing it, just get a big wrench, and twist it off-yes it will leave huge scrape marks on it, but you are replacing it, so what does it matter... good luck, loctite is a *****...

I have a neck and a halo in the mail so I just needed some info before I started to take it off.

k, i suggest just ripping it off. good luck. you could also heat up the loctited threads with fire, but just ripping it off will probably work. good luck.

i got a check it low rise for my egg w/z-board and i chop:pissed:
Azn boy, dont tell me that it is not possible cause i did it, multiple times. somebody else said they did it too. if u have a low, or no rise then u can chop more easily than u can with a high rise
