Hmmm Now why is it no one has pointed out the fact that the 18v Revy doesn't exist... Yes go one say it.. so it takes 2 9 volt batteries. that does indeed make a 18volt load... but it only uses 12 volts.. so it is a 12 volt revy.
which is currently what i use.

No one pointed out that it doesnt exist, because it does. Early revvies came in 9 and 18 volt. Because the 18 volt was too much strain on the motor, it would occasionally cause one to short out. Viewloader made the decision to switch over to 12 volt for this reason. However, an awful lot of 18 volt revvies are still around, if you've ever heard of someone refer to "a shredder", usually they're talking about an 18 volt. One of the guys on my team uses one, and it works really well actually. Ugly as hell (green shell on one side, white on the other, both opaque), but it spins faster than a 12 volt, and that's why people keep em around. I'm lookin into convertin my 12 to 15 soon anyhow, and alot of people do that as well, so in a while I'm gonna be marked under "other", but until then, 12 it is

I don't see the point in a Revy anyway...I can put off like 8 a second without it.

I got a Compact 2k and see no need for a hopper that costs almost as much as my gun. I really don't see how it can make me shoot any faster. So I'll stick to my VL200

If you try shooting any electro at all without a revvy, it wont work. I'd bet 50 dollars that you would not be able to get off more than 12 shots without having to shake the hopper, because the guns fire softly enough that there isnt any kick to knock the balls back down. I've never seen an electro that could fire rapidly without a revvy, so there is a point to one

i use a spyder compact 2k and there are LOTS of times when i shoot and balls don't feed, and i'm sick of shaking my hopper every 3 minutes. which revy should i get, 12 or 9? is the 12 worth the extra $$?
I have a Red and Blue 32 degrees 200 round hopper and it kicks ***,

hrmm...depends..if you're gonna jsut stick with your comp, get the 9, but if you're gonna get a better gun, then get the 12 vt.

When I had my spyder TL I got my 9v, nto thinking that I would be able to upgrade for a while, so I am still using a 9v on my cocker. It is fine though, I don't shoot it too much.
