View Full Version : NEW PRO EXT???? Thoughts, opinions...

I have decided to break down and get myself a new gun. Done lots of reading and really do not care to spend more than $250.00. So, I have narrowed my decision down to the PRO EXT. Anyone have any other suggestions for about the same amount of $$ and what is everyones thoughts on the EXT? Yes, I know the EXT has a crappy barrel as most stock guns do, however I have a new barrel on the way for my old spyder which will fit the Piranha.

dont get the Pro EXT!!!!!! instead get the Pro TS.
Reason:
1. has a way better stock barrel
2. has all the same features besides a flush cocking system (doesnt do anything for performance anyways)
3. has an aluminum trigger and trigger frame (the Pro EXT has a plastic trigger and trigger frame)

all in all the Pro TS is a better gun for the same price. it is pmi's best gun and is very nice. i have one and am looking to get a palmer stabalizer for it, even though the pure energy regulator is a very nice add on to the gun.

I would rather have an EXT than the TS. There is nothing wrong with the composite trigger frame. Its not like its made of some cheap plastic that is gonna break. And it has the cool milling and flush cocking. He says he already has a barrel on the way so the stock barrel doesnt matter. Its also cheaper. And I like the colors better. This is all my opinion though. You should look at the two and decide which one you think is better.

I think I am going to have to agree with Derman on this one. Yes, the stock barrel on the EXT does kind of suck. That is not from experience, but it is plastic! Like I said, I have another barrel on the way to replace it anyhow. Also, Derman is correct again, I cannot imagine it being too easy to break the trigger frame. I have read that the composite trigger frame actually has a tighter trigger pull than the aluminum. The splash paint job on the TS just does not do it for me, would rather have a solid color! So, I guess it is the EXT unless someone can convince me other. Thanks for you opinions!
