I'm going to be building a new gun soon and recently I saw a Pro-Carbine in action and was interested in what this gun had to offer compared to the 98. It's a nice looking gun, seemed lighter than the 98 but I wanted to know more about it.

Could those who use the Pro-Carbine give me some kind of breakdown of your gun and why you went with it instead of the 98?

Thanks

Sigh, here we go again. First off, look at all the similar posts here, and at www.tippmann.com , okay?

Basically:
98 is cheaper (easier to make)
98 has a foregrip (if you like that)
98 can have a flatline barrel (ditto)
98 currently has more accessories and is easier to upgrade (tho pro/carb is good too)
98 has a reactive trigger available now (pro/carb not yet)

pro/carb is easier to strip
pro/carb has a more solid body
pro/carb has no foregrip (if you like that)
pro/carb is less common

My mistake, I usually do search the threads just felt a little lazy I guess. Nevermind, I'll do the research.

alright. I'll agree with most of that. I won't get into it like last time, but I just wanted to say that the RT trigger IS available for the carbine now. www.air-tipps.com. It's not on the website yet, but they are selling it.

I love the lack of Pro/Carbs. It makes mine grab attention, plus I think its more accurate than the 98c. Plus, Its got a distinctive bark, so people will learn to fear it.
